Iles Formula Hair Talk Featuring Corey Powell of Salon Benjamin West Hollywood is one you…
OSCARS IN REVIEW
Welcome back , I’m Corey Powell, hollywood’s favorite hair critic, and thank you for checking in. Gonna have some chit chat on hair trends, fashion, up-do’s and don’ts, hits and misses at the Oscars.
Lets talk red carpet. The ABC family and my friend Lawrence Zarian were fun, asked some interesting questions, great interviews, talked about the movies, made trivial interesting. E’s coverage was trivial: weird questions, mani-cams, Khloe Kardashian, PLEASE, brush that hair for Oscar – thank god for Ryan Seacrest. It’s all in fun and great to see the hairstylist and jewelry.
Trending is Faith Hill, Rita Ora, and Jennifer Hudson who all look so fresh with cropped short hair cuts, with a side part, definitely HIT’S.
Anna Kendrick looking a little old, with that UP-DON’T.
Felicity Jones up-Do with the bangs looking fresh and young – those Brits.
New Hair trend is the long bob (LOB). Margot Robbie how is my client looking crazy beautiful, with her hair back to blonde looking sleek and chic.
Naomi Watts looking romantic, sporting waves, who has the prettiest blonde hair?
Ethan Hawk looking disheveled and sexy.
Laura Dern’s hair style and color HOTT a friend of mine Lorri Goddard who does her color, she’s amazing.
Marion Cotillard looked so chic with her deep side parted up-DO, great earrings, leave it to the french.
Rosamund Pike looked beautiful love the subtle highlights, straight back up-DO, great red dress.
Sienna Miller looking ravishing and gone back lighter no too blonde was very nice, loved the Up-DO how it’s rolled up, sleek, great shape for her face.
Dakota Johnson, not looking fifty shades of grey looking beautiful with her low pony and bangs, young and HOTT.
Jennifer Lopez in that beautiful cinderella gown, thought the ponytail was bit too cheerleader and too casual for that beautiful gown.
What is John Travolta wearing on his head? REALLY, a wig – DON’T. Then feeling up and kissing the beautiful Scarlett Johansson is darker and a lot shorter hair, hipster, fresh and sassy, I like it, good change for her. It is a bit Miley Cyrus though.
Channing Tatum looking swift with his deep side parted hair and goatee.
What was Emma Stone’s hair doing, some asymmetrical DON’T?
Neil Patrick Harris’s opening was genius, with Anna Kendrick and Jack Black.
Neil even went down to his skivvies from there. Was that really all his business?
Adam Levine somehow always pulls off edgy hair so cool.
WOW! Zoe Saldana was beautiful, the messy up-DO amazing, the dress and the jewelry…
Cate Blanchett is Cate, she’s beautiful. Up-Do and color looked great, not into the dress or the jewelry for the Oscars.
John Legend and Common WOW, such an emotional performance, even got Chris Pine all watery eyed which made him look even sexier, sporting the full facial hair.
Patricia Arquette sure looked like a winner, I love the blonde, with messy up-DO, her face her dress a definite hit. Was Jared Leto blessing her? Maybe hes playing Jesus in his next role.
Jessica Chastain’s hair color is exquisite, didn’t much like the added extensions and style – NOT A HIT.
Lady Gaga looking many shades grey in that wig DON’T, a beautiful dress and what a great performance, she never fails to surprise us, KUDOS.
Matthew McConaughey was not a HIT.
Eddie Redmayne’s hair hit pushed and brushed a bit messy and sexy, love the blue and black tuxedo, so glad he won, what a great performance.
Finally Julianne Moore, looks STUNNING, beautiful red hair with elegant up-DO, side parted, definitely the trend of the night, looking like a winner in that gorgeous dress – congrats Julianne.
Sean Penn looking older, something about him still sexy, wearing all black. I would wear that.
Bird man wins wahoo! I am so glad it won, I saw it and thought it was a work of art.
All and all I enjoyed the evening, thank god for Gaga and skivvies
See you next time, and thanks again for checking in.
